This pleasant 60 year old lady presented with moderate mid face and lower face volume loss and descent resulting in depressed cheek area, depression around the eyes and tear troughs, prominent nasolabial folds (parenthesis), prominent marionette lines and jowls. She also had moderate expression wrinkles and exaggerated forehead muscle resulting in an unnatural surprised looked.  She sought Dr. Lam for a fresher and more youthful look without changing her identity. Dr. Lam initiated the treatment with BOTOX resulting in a more natural and aesthetically pleasing appearance as seen in the “before” 3-D oblique photo compared to her original photo. 2 weeks after her BOTOX treatment, she scheduled with Dr. Lam for her pan-rejuvenation treatment with the derma fillers JUVEDERM and VOLUMA.  A 3-D photo in the oblique view highlights the irregular contours in the far cheek from her upper face to her jaw in her “before” photo. It also demonstrates her nasolabial folds, marionette lines and jowls in the cheek closer to the camera. The “after” photo shows a smooth transition between her upper, mid and lower face in the far cheek resulting in an appropriate curve indicative of a more youthful profile. The nasolabial folds, marionette lines and jowls have also been camouflaged resulting in an overall smoother appearance. Although many syringes of derma fillers were used, the patient was able to maintain her identity and achieve a fresher more youthful and less worn and tired appearance, without looking like she has had work done on her face.
