Blurred Lines: Should You Tell Your Spouse or BFF About BOTOX?
I don’t know about you, but I find that the topics no one wants to talk about are often the most interesting. This is absolutely true when it comes to BOTOX® Cosmetic.
As a Master Injector of BOTOX, I’ve treated thousands of patients from Albuquerque and all around our great state of New Mexico. Some are open about their BOTOX use, but many others would prefer to keep it hush-hush — even from the people who matter most to them.
You don’t have to be an aesthetic professional to know that there are some things you just don’t ask a woman unless she tells you. Her age? A lady never tells. Her weight? Just not a smart thing to do. Suspect she’s eating for 2? She’d better be holding a pregnancy test or sporting a “baby on board” T-shirt. For a time, “Have you had BOTOX?” was also on the list.
At my Albuquerque medical day spa, however, I’ve noticed a change. More women are starting to feel comfortable sharing their BOTOX treatments with their significant others and with their best friends. It also turns out there are some benefits here, but you should expect to get something different out of each of the 2 divulgences. Here’s my perspective:
- Telling your spouse: As a popular blogger found out the hard way, there’s really no reason to hide your BOTOX from your spouse. Not only are you setting yourself up for a breach of trust and perhaps even a financial argument, but you’re missing out on some benefits. Your spouse has your health and best interests in mind. A supportive spouse should ensure that you’re opting for enhancement for all the right reasons and also that you’re seeking treatment with an experienced provider.
- Telling your BFF: There’s just no replacement for the shared excitement and advice of a trusted confidante. Who else will tag along with you and perhaps even try BOTOX for herself? Tell her — chances are she’s considered treatment for her own crow’s feet or frown lines, or maybe she’s even tried it. You’ll benefit from her wisdom. Also, you both might save some cash. For example, our current BFF BOTOX special is designed to reward our clients for sharing their experiences with their BFFs. After your BOTOX treatment this month, refer a friend and you’ll receive a $50 credit toward your next BOTOX treatment. Your friend will get a free BOTOX treatment with me. This offer is just available for a limited time, so be sure to call us today to make your appointment!
Of course, if discretion is more your style, you don’t always have to tell your loved ones about your love for BOTOX. With natural-looking treatment from an experienced injector, you will certainly be able to keep them guessing!
