This Treatment Can Make You Look Younger During Your Lunch Break
Much can be accomplished during the lunch hour. There are quick errands to run, friends or colleagues to visit, and of course, food to be enjoyed. It is a time to reset and refresh before finishing out the busy day, and it is not unusual for many folks to treat themselves to a little personal time, whether it be relaxing at the coffee shop or primping at the nail salon. What it is: This revolutionary skin-tightening technology utilizes radiofrequency (RF) waves stimulate your body’s own collagen renewal process. The result is tighter, more even, brighter skin on the face (including eye area) and body. There are no lasers, injections, or incisions, and recovery time is minimal.
How it works: During your Thermage CPT treatment, we use a handheld ThermaTip™ device on your trouble spots. This device delivers radio wave technology to the deepest layers of your skin, revving up collagen growth while the skin on the surface is cooled and tightened. Treatment typically lasts about 1 hour for the eyes or face and up to 90 minutes for larger body areas.
Why I recommend it: What is truly amazing is that our patients see results quickly — starting in as little as one day. Improvement continues for up to 6 months as collagen is stimulated. Results from one treatment typically last 2 to 3 years. If you take great care of your skin by wearing sunscreen, avoiding smoking, and using pharmaceutical-grade skin care products, your treatment will last longer. Still, some clients choose to retreat the area once a year in order to stimulate more collagen and continue to see improvement. Others choose to retreat every few years for maintenance.
